If we’ve learned anything in 2012 already, it’s that the standard definition of a beer dinner is already changing. Check out this two different takes on the concept:
In January, we told you about the first ever craft beer dinner at Izzy’s in Florence. Their next one is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6th at 7:00 pm. This time, the featured brewery is Goose Island and the beers will be their IPA, Nut Brown Ale and Pere Jacques. The dinner will be sauerkraut balls, the Suzzy with a potato pancake and fried Oreos. The price is $25.00 and includes all three beers and dinner. Izzy’s is promising a gift for all who attend. To reserve your spot, call 859-525-2333. There will be second Izzy’s beer dinner on March 20th at their Anderson location featuring Sam Adams beers.
If you are looking for something a bit more high brow, check out the Brass and Beer dinner to be offered by concert:nova at Arnold’s on March 12th. This event is “a 4-course dinner and beer tasting menu along with a concert of German Brass Quintets in the Cincinnati tradition! Doug Lindsay leads the c:n brass in a program pairing beer and music.” The cost is $55.00 per person. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to http://www.concertnova.com/foodmusic
