Bockfest 2014 Schedule

All of this information came from We just combined the information there into one hour-by-hour schedule of the beer related events. All Bockfest events are free and open to the public (no cover). Don’t forget the free Bockfest shuttle is available all weekend (See map).

Wednesday, March 5th

6:00 – 9:00 pm – Schoenling Bock Beer Tapping at Mecklenburg Gardens
Admission is free with Happy Hour beer prices on the bock beers and a German buffet available. No reservations will be accepted for the buffet or the tapping, but they are recommended if you want to order off the menu in the main restaurant. Call (513) 221-5353.

Friday, March 7th

4:00-8:00 pm – Arnold’s Parade Biergarten – 15 bock beers on tap
5:00 pm – Bockfest Hall opens
5:00-9:00 pm – Fish Fry at Old Saint Mary’s
6:00 pm – Tapping of Ayinger Celebrator at Grammer’s
6:00 pm – Bockfest parade steps off from Arnold’s
7:00 pm (approximately) – Bockfest Parade ends.
— The Blessing of the Beer takes place with live music by The Bier Band and Jake Speed
1:00 am – Bockfest Hall Closes

Saturday, March 8th

8:30 am – Bockfest Hall Opens
9:40 am – 3:30 pm – Brewery and Church Tours leave from Hall
10:00 am – 2nd Annual Bockfest 5K – Go to for more information
12:00 pm – Triple Digit Bourbon Barrel Gravitator Dopplebock Tapping at Arnold’s
12:00 & 3:00 pm – Afternoon history lunches at Washington Platform (includes a presentation, 3-course lunch, and a tour of the sub-basement malting cellars under Washington Platform-only open to the public during Bockfest for $35)
12:00 pm – “How Beer Built Cincinnati” presentation by Michael D. Morgan
3:00 pm – “Cincinnati Brewing History” presentation by Jim Bruckmann
12:00-4:00 pm – Live WNKU remote at Bockfest Hall (Hall stage)
12:00-4:00 pm – Bockfest Brewers’ Summit & Home Brewing Competition at Bockfest Hall Sponsored by Bloatarian Brewing League
12:00-6:00 pm – Steins and Breweriana Displays, along with authors at Bockfest Hall
1:00 pm – Cask Conditioned Chardonnay Barrel Oaked Rivertown Bock Tapping at Arnold’s
2:00 pm – 50 West Bocklava (Bock Beer infused with honey and nuts) Tapping at Arnold’s
3:00 pm – Moerlein Emancipator Doppelbock Specialty Keg Tapping at Arnold’s
7:30-9:00 pm – Sausage Queen Competition Finals at Bockfest Hall
1:00 am – Bockfest Hall Closes

Sunday, March 9th

10:00 am – Bockfest Hall Opens
10:40 am – 3:30 pm – Brewery Tours leave from Bockfest Hall
11:00 am – Bockfest Mass at Old Saint Mary’s
11:00 am – 4:00 pm – The Bockfest Tent Revival to benefit the Cincinnati Music Heritage Fund at Arnold’s – “Brunch with old time Gospel music from some of Cincinnati’s best Old-time , Bluegrass, Country and Folk bands”
12:00-7:00 pm – Steins and Breweriana Displays, along with authors at Bockfest Hall
12:00–3:00PM – Bockfest Brunch at Washington Platform with the Cincinnati Dancing Pigs.
1:30 – 7:00 pm – Continental Sunday, including live music, dancer, and performances at Bockfest Hall
7:00 pm – Bockfest Hall Closes
