I was over on the Rock Bottom web site checking out some information for the Hoperatives Happening there tomorrow night and noticed that the next Chef & Brewer Dinner at our Cincinnati Rock Bottom will be Wednesday, July 15, 2009. No time is listed, but it’s usually about 6:00 pm. I’ll confirm the time tomorrow. (Keith, one of the managers at Rock Bottom, confirmed that the dinner starts at 6:00 pm, but people usually gather a bit before then.) The cost is $35 per person and it’s always well worth the price.
Here’s the menu:
First Course: Fresh baby spinach, mandarin orange, sweet red onions and peppers with cherry tomatoes tossed in a wheat beer vinaigrette
Beer Pairing: Wheat
Second Course: Grilled Mahi tacos with Jicama slaw and avocado cream sauce. Served with Cuban black beans and rice.
Beer Pairing: Light
Third Course: Grilled flat bread pizza with spicy hot Italian sausage fire roasted peppers and onions topped with oregano ricotta and basil pesto
Beer Pairing: Brown
Fourth Course: Lemon Pepper Pork Loin Sandwich pressed with a Pale Ale Dijon Aioli, Spicy Hot Slaw served with stone fruit salsa and Kettle Chips
Beer Pairing: Pale
Fifth Course: Strawberry-Blackberry Summer Trifle
Beer Pairing: Porter
Reservations are required and you can make your reservations by calling (513) 621-1588 or you can make them in person tomorrow night when you attend the Hoperatives Happening. You are coming, aren’t you?
