● At this week’s Friday Night Flights at Party Town in Florence, they will be featuring high gravity brews (aka extreme beers). In addition, if you feel like it, you can pay an extra ten dollars and try Sam Adams Utopias. Remember that the cost for the regular tasting is $2 for a full flight of beers and it goes from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. UPDATE: Party Town just announced that they will tapping Backwoods Bastard Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale from Founders tonight during Friday Night Flights!
● The Delhi Bigg’s will be hosting a Mount Carmel Beer Tasting tonight from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Address is 5025 Delhi Ave, Cincinnati, OH
● UPDATE Liquor Direct has changed its name to D.E.P.’s Fine Wine and Spirits. The beer tasting today at their Fort Thomas location features beer from Sierra Nevada. The tasting goes from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
● At this week’s Cork ‘N Bottle beer tastings, they will feature at Covington: On the growler station: Great Lakes Elliot Ness, Schlafly Pale Ale, Leffe Belgian Blonde and Bell’s Best Brown Ale and in bottles: Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale, New Holland Existential Ale. At the Buttermilk Pike location, on the growler station: Ommegang Hennepin, Belhaven Scottish Lager, Clipper City Heavy Seas IPA/Goose Island Bourbon County Stout and Bell’s Rye Stout and in bottles: they will be tasting parts of the Ommegang line in bottles. The tastings at both locations are from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Fridays and from 2:00 – 5:00 pm on Saturdays (No Saturday tasting at the Covington location this week). Cost is $1 for 6 to 8 beers.
