“A Night of Cincinnati History” to Feature Local Beers – April 11th

The Lower Price Hill Community School is hosting an exciting event featuring several prominent local historians. The event, titled “A Night of Cincinnati History,” will take place on Thursday, April 11 from 6-9:30pm in the historic former Saint Michael the Archangel sanctuary in Lower Price Hill. The evening will feature presentations by five local historians including:

Joel Luckhaupt – Cincinnati Reds History
Dan Hurley – Cincinnati History
Jake Mecklenborg – History of the Forgotten Cincinnati Subway
David Zelman – The Cincinnati Riverfront
Richard Jones – History of Baseball in Price Hill

To accompany the history presentations, several Cincinnati beers will be available to sample throughout the evening. Including: Listermann Brewing Company, Moerlein Brewing Company, Mad Tree Brewing Company, and Cellar Dweller Brewery.

This event is a great way to bring Cincinnati history alive and to learn about the new development opportunities in Lower Price Hill. All proceeds from the event will go to the Restore Saint Michael’s campaign; a project between the Lower Price Hill Community School and BLOC Ministries.

Tickets are available at www.cincinnatihistory.eventbrite.com and include entry, beer samples, and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. For more information visit www.lphcs.org or call Jen Walters at 513-244-2214.
