We are now taking proposals for sessions for the 2014 5B: Believers in Better Beer, Bites and Blogging Conference. Sessions can be on beer blogging, food blogging or authentic blogging. The links to previous years’ sessions are below.
The planners of this year’s conference (Andrea Brofft of udandi.com & Lunch It, Punch It; Julie Niesen Gosdin of Wine Me, Dine Me (in Cincinnati); Shannan Boyer of Family Friendly Cincinnati and Mommy Bits along with Tom and Carla of Hoperatives) have been surveying past attendees and various blogging groups to find out what topics hold the most interest for bloggers. These are the ones we are highly encouraging potential speakers and panels to consider. They include copywriting (writing and grammar), SEO, working with PR firms, Google+, Pinterest, time management, the pros and cons of monetization, podcasting, video blogging, WordPress plugins and so on.
In addition, we also want to strive to have panels who focus on sharing information, not technology. Only one room per time slot will be outfitted with a projector and screen. First priority will be given to panels who are demonstrating a blogging related technique or skill. Presenters will need to provide their own laptops, cables and connectors. All other rooms will have only a table and chairs at the front of the room.
To submit your proposal, simply go to the 2014 5B Panel Proposal page and fill out the form on that page.
