Back on July 16th, we told you about SweetWater Brewing expanding their distribution into Ohio in the next month or so. In anticipation of that, we will be hosting a SweetWater event this coming Monday (August 11th) at 6:00 pm at Hebron Brew Haus to give all of our Ohio Hoperatives a chance to check out their beers before they’re available in the Buckeye State.
If you’ve ever driven to CVG, Hebron Brew Haus is easy to find. Just take the next exit after the airport exit (Exit 8A) and then take the first right. Hebron Brew Haus is the left part of the strip mall tucked back in there. The official address to plug into your GPS is 2030 Northside Dr in Hebron, KY.
Three SweetWater beers will be on tap including 420, IPA and their Waterkeeper Ale that we told you about in our earlier post. Local SweetWater rep Ken Osborne will be on hand as well as Zak Schroerlucke who is SweetWater’s Brewery Education Manager aka their “Resident Sipster”.
Besides the beer, there will be giveaways including some beer books and memorabilia from our private Hoperatives collection. While the event officially starts at 6:00 pm, the SweetWater beer will be flowing by 5:00 that night.
So, Ohioans, take a drive across the river and check out the hoppy goodness that is heading your way from SweetWater. And, Kentuckians? Let’s show them how it’s done!
See you Monday at Hebron Brew Haus!
