Because the inspiration behind this project was a Strong Female firefighter, well we couldn’t release it without a HUGE party, celebrating all strong women of this amazing city! All while pairing up with Women Helping Women, donating a portion of the proceeds back to them. We will have live music at 7:00 from Coconut Milk, Food Trucks, and a raffling off amazing items from Cincinnati restaurants, spas, brewery swag, and candles from the Candle Lab!!! They will be tapping Perrin Brewing Company’s No Rules Vietnamese Porter and Lil Griz Barrel Aged Brown Ale. They will also pouring Grapefruit IPA and Black from cans. All four 5 oz pours for $12.

• Nation Kitchen – Caturday! From Facebook, “Join OAR and Rhinegeist for Caturday at Nation Kitchen and Bar from 4-8 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Rhinegeist, Nation Kitchen + Bar, and OAR raffle baskets with drawing at 8 pm. $2 per Rhinegeist pint will be donated to OAR and $1 from each custom cat-themed burger by Nation. • Christian Moerlein Malt House – Footoberfest Sunday starting at noon. From Facebook: “Where football meets oompah, beer, food and fun! Musikkapelle Bertoldshofen will be here playing authentic German music to help us get in the Oktoberfest spirit (not to interrupt the game), Wienerwurst Mike will be cooking up his usual hits, and we’ll be here pouring the beers! Oh yeah…we’ll have the football game on too!”

TASTINGS

• Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Abita at Fairfield and having an “Imperial IPA Madness” at Eastgate. Beers include Three Floyds Permenant Funeral, MadTree Galaxy High, Rhinegeist Stryker, Fifty West Punch You in the EyePA and more.

• Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

• Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

• Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from Stone. It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

• Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

• BC’s Bottle Lodge – Urban Artifact Tap Takeover starting at 6:00 pm tonight. Beers include Otso, Chariot, Vanilla Keypunch and Whirligig.

• Christian Moerlein Malt House AND Moerlein Lager House – Moerlein Connector IPA launch party – “Get your very own commemorative Moerlein Connector streetcar glass full of delicious Moerlein Connector American IPA for only $5.50 +tax”
