Monday, Sept. 5th at 5:00 pm – Rare Keg Monday at Ei8ht Ball Brewing
This week, it’s Jolly Pumpkin tap takeover. Beers include Hamajang, Innovator, La Roja Kriek, Nuevos, Uber Wit, and Wet Hopped. Each of these Jolly Pumpkin beers will be $10 For a thirteen ounce tulip or $15 for a 4 ounce flight of all 6 beers.

Wednesday, Sept. 7th from 5:00-10:00 pm – Charitable Suds at Rhinegeist
Co-hosted by Cincinnati Public Radio, a portion of the proceeds during the happy hour will be donated to the Brewery District CURC.

Thursday, Month Day from 5:00-10:00 pm – New Belgium Pint Night at Cappy’s Wines and Spirits
Beers include Fat Tire, Citradelic, Pumpkick, Tart Lychee, Fruit Fly and Oscar Worthy Coffee Nitro. Food available from Packhouse Meats and each New Belgium pint purchase gets you entered to win a limited edition New Belgium bike.

FESTIVALS

Fifty Fest – Saturday, Sept. 18th from noon to midnight at Fifty West. Check out their web site for more information.

Franztoberfest – This third annual event at Rhinegeist begins at noon on Saturday.

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati – Today through Sunday. Check out this article from Jesse Folk at WCPO on the more than 100 beers available this year.

Überdrome – Runs Friday through Sunday at Schmidlapp event lawn adjacent to the Moerlein Lager House. For more information, check out their Facebook event page.

TASTINGS

Everything’s d’ Vine – Tasting is at 5:30 pm each week and costs $10 for beer and wine tastings. You can get just beer or just wine for $5.00. The beers for this week’s tasting (9/18) are Two Brothers Atom Smasher, Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin, Great Divide Lasso and Great Lakes Nosferatu.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Rhinegeist in Fairfield and Old Firehouse Brewery in Eastgate.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week (9/11) from 5:30-7:00 pm, it’s beers from Stone Brewing including Mutt Brown, Points Unknown (their Wicked Weed collaboration), Thunderstruck, Your Father Smelt of Elder Berries on draft as well as several bottles like IPA, Bourbon Barrel Arrogant Bastard, 2014 & 2015 IRS and more. The cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights.

Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

TAPPINGS

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight (9/11) is Free Bacon Night AND they will be tapping Ei8ht Ball Dalton’s Kriek. The cost is $8 for a thirteen ounce snifter.

Rivertown Brewing (as of Dec. 5th) has Pumpkin Ale, Winter Ale, Lil’ SIPA, Unit 6 American Hefeweizen, Helles Lager, Dunkel Lager, Blueberry Lager, Hop Baron DIPA, Hop Bomber Rye Pale Ale, Roebling Vanilla Espresso Porter, Imperial Oatmeal Christmas Cookie Stout on Cask, Triumvirate (in bottles). Growler fills are $8.50 for most beers and high gravity beers are $11.70 (both prices are with tax). If you need a growler, it’s $4 extra.

GROWLERS AT BREW PUBS

Fifty West Brewing (as of Nov. 26th) has Ale of Two Cities, Alternate Route, Armadillo Crossing, Bobby’s Idea, Coast 2 Coast, Coffee Please Stout, Home Sweet Home, Loneliest Road Stout, Moving Violation, Slave to the Traffic Light Amber, Speedbump Kolsch, Spooner Summit DIPA and Thirsty 37. Two different beer flights available. Flights are half off before 6:00 pm and all day on Sundays.

Moerlein Lager House (as of Nov. 22nd) has Fifth & Vine, Exposition, Helles, Northern Liberties, OTR, Seven Hefeweizen, Zeppelin and La Grange Saison. Growlers are $12.00 to refill or $16.00 if you need a growler. Growler refills are $7 on Tuesdays and Fridays. The specialty seasonals are $20.00 if you need a growler. They only fill their own growlers.

Rock Bottom Cincinnati sells growlers of all their regular beers. Most growler fills are $13.50. They only fill their own growlers.
