10th Annual Cincy Winter Beerfest – Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening at the Convention Center. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance. This event frequently sells out, especially the Connoisseur Level tickets. Also, Designated Drivers tickets are not sold at the door. Buy them now.

Cincy Winter Beerfest After Party – Friday night at 11:00 pm at Queen City Exchange. Featuring beers from Braxton including Storm Golden Cream Ale, Crank Shaft IPA, Spotlight White IPA, Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, and Jumpstart Brown Ale brewed with Bourbon Barrel-Aged Starter Coffee.

Cincy Winter Beerfest Happy Hour – Saturday at 5:00 pm at Knockback Nat’s.

TASTINGS, TOURS and DINNERS

Moerlein Lager House and Christian Moerlein Malt House – Brunch, Beers, & Breweries Sunday at 10:30 am. See their web page for more information and to buy your tickets.

DEP’s Fine Wine and Spirits – Braxton tasting Friday at 5:00 pm. Beers include Storm Golden Cream Ale, Dead Blow Tropical Stout, Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, Spotlight White IPA, and Tropic Flare Imperial IPA.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Kona Brewing at Fairfield and from Green Flash at Eastgate.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from Laguinitas. They are promising a nice spread of bottles and two special drafts: Willett Barrel aged Imperial Stout and Fusion XXXIX IPA.It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Beers include their flagship beers & special drafts, including Rum Barrel aged Amber Lager, an oak aged IPA, an Barrel aged Imperial Stout and a Coffee variant of that Imperial Stout. BC’s Bottle Lodge – Evil Twin Tap Takeover tonight at 6:00 pm. Beers include Molotov Lite, Liquid Double Fudge, Imperial Biscotti Break, Aun Mas A Jesus and Aun Mas Cafe Jesus.

Braxton Brewing – Superfecta Tapping Party tonight at 5:00 pm. Superfecta is a dry-hopped rye saison brewed with Kentucky hops. This beer was brewed in collaboration with Great Flood Brewing Company in Louisville and Ethereal Brewing in Lexington.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Free Bacon Friday plus they’re pouring Green Flash Cosmic Retro Baltic Porter. Cost is $7 for a ten ounce snifter.

Party Source – Bottle release of Quaff Bros. Even S’more Of What? on Saturday at 12:00 pm. Price is $7.99 for a twelve ounce bottle. No limits.

This is the first release in their 100% Brett fermented series. Night Marcher is an Island Pale Ale brewed with jack fruit, papaya, pineapple, coconut, mandarin orange, guava, lemon & lime peel, ginger root, Jamaican allspice, fennel, saffron & toasted coriander.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night and they will be pouring beers from Mash Cult including Ramathorn, Mic Drop and I’ve Got Gose in different area code.

Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – It’s unclear whether they are tasting Rhinegeist and/or Falls City. Either way, it’s scheduled from 4:00-7:00 pm tonight (8/21).

Everything’s d’ Vine – Tasting is at 5:30 pm each week and costs $10 for beer and wine tastings. You can get just beer or just wine for $5.00. The beers for this week’s tasting (8/21) are MadTree Lift, Breckenridge Autumn Ale, Flying Dog Bloodline and Green Flash Soul Style IPA.
