Tröegs Scratch Feature

From Facebook: “Get excited because Tröegs is coming to Habits!
They’re bringing some delicious brews for all of us to enjoy.
In the linup is one Mystery Experimental Keg that, even we don’t know the contents of!

*Hibiscus IPA – HIbiscus and Crimson Pistil, the two get in a glorious tangle of berry-like tanginess, sunset technicolor and sticky tropical notes in this Glorious IPA.

*Mystery Scratch – an exciting NEW Brew launched at Habits Craft Beer Series. Only the Tröegs Brew Master Knows, be the first to taste!

*Sunshine Pilsner – A year round winner – This deceptively complex pilsner is all about the tightrope walk of two-row barley, zesty Saaz hops and lager yeast. It’s a go-to when the sun is shining and it makes us happy when skies are gray

Kegs are tapped at 6pm, be there or miss out!”

From their Facebook event page: “Water is THE most important raw material we use as brewers. We are blessed with top notch drinking water here in Cincinnati and it just so happens to make great beer too. Imagine if the water you were drinking (and everything made from it) was rendered toxic due to cost cutting efforts by your friendly local government. Not cool. This is exactly what has happened in Flint Michigan. People in that community currently don’t have access to safe drinking water from their municipal system and to us that is a real shame. It has been bugging us so much that we decided we need to do something to help.
This Saturday, January 23rd, BLANK SLATE BREWING COMPANY will be donating 20% of all beverage sales to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund to aid in immediate disaster relief for those affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. We will also be accepting cash donations as part of the contributions.”

That means a $3 donation for every pint purchased. They will also have some amazing silent auction items, donation boxes, split the pot, t-shirts available for purchase, and more.
