Bockfest 2015 Schedule

All of this information came from Bockfest.com. We just combined the information there into one hour-by-hour schedule of the beer related events. Unless otherwise indicated, all Bockfest 2015 events are free and open to the public (no cover). Don’t forget the free Bockfest shuttle is available all weekend (See map).

For the first time, Bockfest 2015 is offering a variety of special packages this year. There is one for the beer lover, the food lover and the history lover plus the Bockfest Experience and the Bockfest Booster Pass. Be sure to check them out at Bockfest.com.

Friday, March 6th

3:00-4:00 pm – 1/2 off all drafts at The Lackman
3:00-6:00 pm – Arnold’s Pre Parade Party
3:00-6:00 pm – Happy Hour at Taqueria Mercado with $5 Bock beer liters and $5 goat soup
4:00-8:00 pm – Happy Hour at The Famous Neons Unplugged
4:00 pm – Specials at Japps – $6 MadTree Bock, $4 Hudy Bock, $7 Wiestenphaner Bock
5:00 pm – Bockfest Hall opens
– Special Bockfest menu with Avril Bleh Bockwurst and tours of the Malt Ovens below the restaurant at Washington Platform
5:00-9:00 pm – Fish Fry at Old Saint Mary’s
6:00 pm – Bockfest parade steps off from Arnold’s

11:00 am-3:00 pm – #GoatRodeo at Halfcut – Described as “a team-based bar crawl and scavenger hunt designed to celebrate Over-the-Rhine and spread Bockfest cheer.” Be sure to register your team in advance.
11:00 am-5:00 pm – Bockfest Heritage Series at The Woodward Theater
12:00 pm – Afternoon history lunches at Washington Platform (includes a presentation, 3-course lunch, and a tour of the sub-basement malting cellars under Washington Platform-only open to the public during Bockfest for $35 – Buy your tickets in advance through this link.)
1:00-6:00 pm – The Bock Beer Experience: Brewers Summit & Tasting – See our earlier post for more information.

11:00 am – 4:00 pm – “The Bockfest Tent Revival” at Arnold’s presented by The Good People Music Festival
12:00–3:00PM – Bockfest Brunch at Washington Platform with the Cincinnati Dancing Pigs.
12:00-2:00 pm – Continental Bockfeast – “A special dinner only available Sunday in Bockfest Hall, including ½ fresh rotisserie roasted Amish chicken from Revolution Rotisserie, sausage sampler from Queen City Sausage, potato-caramelized onion pierogies from Babushka Pierogies, German-American Potato salad and Hot Bacon Sauerkraut Slaw from Grandma Debbie’s, and a Servatii dessert.” Tickets are pre-sale only. Wednesday, March 5th

6:00 – 9:00 pm – Schoenling Bock Beer Tapping at Mecklenburg Gardens
Admission is free with Happy Hour beer prices on the bock beers and a German buffet available. No reservations will be accepted for the buffet or the tapping, but they are recommended if you want to order off the menu in the main restaurant. Call (513) 221-5353.
