10th Annual Cincy Winter Beerfest – Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening at the Convention Center. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance. This event frequently sells out, especially the Connoisseur Level tickets. Also, Designated Drivers tickets are not sold at the door. Buy them now.

Cincy Winter Beerfest After Party – Friday night at 11:00 pm at Queen City Exchange. Featuring beers from Braxton including Storm Golden Cream Ale, Crank Shaft IPA, Spotlight White IPA, Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, and Jumpstart Brown Ale brewed with Bourbon Barrel-Aged Starter Coffee.

Cincy Winter Beerfest Happy Hour – Saturday at 5:00 pm at Knockback Nat’s.

DEP’s Fine Wine and Spirits – Braxton tasting Friday at 5:00 pm. Beers include Storm Golden Cream Ale, Dead Blow Tropical Stout, Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, Spotlight White IPA, and Tropic Flare Imperial IPA.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Kona Brewing at Fairfield and from Green Flash at Eastgate.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from Laguinitas. They are promising a nice spread of bottles and two special drafts: Willett Barrel aged Imperial Stout and Fusion XXXIX IPA.It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

Arnold’s Bar and Grill – Local Local Local 8 Saturday at 8:00 pm. $3.50 pints from twenty local breweries. Reps on hand from all the breweries and music from the The Cincy Brass.

Christian Moerlein Malt House Two events this weekend:

– Tonight is their Emancipator Doppelbock Keg Tapping at 7:00 pm. From Facebook: “Our first Bockbier of the season is about ready to pour! Emancipator was first brewed in Munich by the medieval Hermits of St. Francis, Doppelbock is a higher alcohol version of bock that served as “liquid bread” during fasting, when food was not permitted. Our version is a tribute to the original Franciscan Hermits and our brewery’s neighbors the Franciscan Friars of the Province of St. John the Baptist, serving at St. Francis Seraph and throughout the Midwest. Our Franciscan neighbors from St. Francis Seraph Church will be at the Malt House Taproom at 7 PM to bless the beer. The tapping will directly follow. Join us for an evening of new beer, live musical entertainment, and light bites from Wienerwurst Mike.”

– Saturday is their Ciderfest featuring about fifteen different infused ciders. This event is free to attend and sampling tickets can be purchased at the door (5 for $10). The complete list of different infused ciders is available on their Facebook event page.

They will be tapping a kep of Hopslam and during the event, they will be raffling off the chance to buy a Bell’s Black Note Stout. The raffles will be held roughly every 30 minutes. You must be present to buy the beer, there will be no holds.

This annual event is a collaboration between Fifty West and Great Lakes. Tickets are $40 each and include all you can eat BBQ with suggested beer pairings, 8 beer tickets redeemable towards any of the beers on tap including the collaboration beer, and a Q&A with the Brewmasters.

From Facebook: “In loving memory of Mike ‘Big Cis’ Cisneros, the Cincinnati Craft Beer community came together to brew in his honor. Braxton Brewing Company, Rivertown Brewery and Barrel House, Fibonacci Brewing Company, MadTree Brewing, Bad Tom Smith Brewing, and Alexandria Brewing Company all came together to collaborate on one of Mike’s favorite styles…introducing the Big Cis Pilsner. Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – Ballast Point tasting today from 4:00-7:00 pm.

DEP’s Fine Wine and Spirits – Rivertown beer tasting from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from MadTree at Fairfield and beers from Rhinegeist Brewing at Eastgate.

Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from Rhinegeist. Beers include Mastodon, Bourbon Barrel Druncle, Sabertooth Tiger, an all new Experimental Double IPA and more. It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.
