Batter up! Get ready for some Major League fun!

Join Braxton Brewing Company, @oskarbluesb and New Belgium Brewing for the 3rd Annual Newport Baseball Bar Crawl!

Grab some friends, keep track of your score and get ready to hit one out of the park!

Keep your eye on the beer (err…ball) as you crawl from bar to bar – scoring runs and errors and trying not to strike out!

We’ll start at Mokka and the Sunset Bar & Grill at 6pm and you must be back at Coaches Corner by 11:15 to calculate and turn in your scorecards! Prizes will be awarded at Coaches Corner.

Thanks to all of our Baseball and beer loving bars who are participating: Mokka and the Sunset Bar & Grill, Jerzees Newport, Lucy’s on Monmouth, The Crazy Fox Saloon, Pompilios (bar area only), and Coaches Corner.

TASTINGS

Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – Tröegs Beer Tasting from 4:00-7:00 pm.

Everything’s d’ Vine – Tasting is at 5:30 pm each week and costs $10 for beer and wine tastings. You can get just beer or just wine for $5.00. The beers for this week’s tasting (9/11) are Rhinegeist Franz, Boulevard Funky Pumpkin, Revolution Eugene Porter and Oskar Blues IPA.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Christian Moerlein in Fairfield and Fat Head’s in Eastgate.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week (9/11) from 5:30-7:00 pm, it’s beers from Crooked Line, Upright Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Christian Moerlein and more. The Draft by the glass pour will Mash Cult’s Dat Juice for $3.00. The cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights.

Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

TAPPINGS

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight (9/11) is Free Bacon Night AND they will be tapping Brooklyn Black Ops. The cost is $10 for a ten ounce snifter.
