Sam Adams Craft Brewer Speed Coaching Event – July 20th

While most of our lives have been subsumed with the All Star Game and all the activities surrounding it, beer life in Cincinnati will actually go on after today. If you have been thinking about starting your own brewery, this event is for you. The Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program is bringing one of their popular Craft Brewer Speed Coaching events to Cincinnati this coming Monday at Findlay Market outdoor pavilion. Please notice that you are encouraged to bring samples of your beers and your packaging if you want feedback on them. Also, be sure to register using the link below.

WHAT: Samuel Adams, in partnership with Accion, is returning to Cincinnati to host its signature Craft Brewer Speed Coaching event on Monday, July 20. Designed to provide expert, customized business advice, the event is part of Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream, a micro-lending and coaching program for small business owners working in food, beverage, and craft brewing.

The event will begin with a networking reception with the opportunity to network with other local craft brewers. Then, during the Speed Coaching, brewers have the opportunity to participate in up to six 20-minute, one-on-one, high-impact sessions. Coaches will include Samuel Adams professionals, and topics covered will range from sales, distribution, and packaging to finance, e-commerce, and marketing.

Participants are encouraged to bring samples of product and packaging that they want feedback on, and should also come prepared with questions regarding specific challenges their businesses are facing. For example, a small business owner may want to ask a finance professional for advice on how to competitively price his/her product.

WHEN: Monday, July 20th
6:00PM-8:30PM

WHERE: Findlay Market Outdoor Pavilion
1801 Race Street
Cincinnati, OH 45214

HOW: Craft brewers interested in participating in the Speed Coaching event should register at http://bit.ly/1J0RzYu.

WHY: The Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program is a micro-lending and coaching program for food and beverage small businesses. Created by Samuel Adams brewer and founder Jim Koch, it provides the two important things Jim couldn’t get when starting Sam Adams 31 years ago: access to financing and nuts-and-bolts business advice. Since the program began in 2008, Brewing the American Dream has provided millions of dollars in microloans to hundreds of entrepreneurs nationwide, coached 4,000+ small business owners, and helped create or retain more than 2,000 jobs.
