They have really however challanged each other to see who can raise the most money for Lungevity, a lung cancer focused non-profit. Both Cappy’s and Arnold’s will be donating $1 for every pint of Chomlungma and it’s variants on Monday. It’s a challenge so there has to be a price to pay. Whoever loses the challenge will have to wear the others T-shirts for an entire weekend this summer. Be sure to come out to help whichever is your favorite establishment raise money for charity and save them from having to wear the others T-shirts all weekend.”

BC’s Bottle Lodge – Fat Head’s Brewing / Boulder Beer Takeover tonight from 6:00-9:00 pm. Beers include Boulder Shake, Boulder Sweaty Betty, Fat Head’s Sunshine Daydream, Fat Head’s Bonehead Red and Boulder/Fat Head’s Co-Hopatation.

Braxton Brewing – Hammerdown Homebrew Celebration, Saturday starting at 6:30 pm. Three variations of Storm, all inspired by homebrewers.

Cappy’s Wine and Spirits – Upland and Revolution Collaboration Event, Saturday from 1:00-6:00 pm. Two different collaboration beers: Revved Up Coffee Brown and Revved Up Coffee Blonde. Both will be on tap in addition to some other beers from both breweries.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night and they are doing tapping Southern Tier Rhine Cabal. The cost is $8 for a 13 oz tulip.

Keystone Hyde Park – Spring Celebration of Bell’s Brewery today starting at 4:00 pm. Beers include Oarsman, Two Hearted, Oberon, Oatsmobile Pale Ale and a cask conditioned Amber Ale.

Marty’s Hops and Vines – Tapping Ei8ht Ball Hammock Hefeweizen Saturday at 5:00 pm and donating $1 from each pint sold to the Testicular Cancer Society.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Rhinegeist in Fairfield and beers from Sierra Nevada in Eastgate.

Liberty’s Bar and Bottle – Jolly Pumpkin tasting Friday at 2:00 pm featuring Oro de Calabaza, Fuego del Otono, Innovator Man, Hamajang, Madrugada, and their wet hopped saison. Available both individually and by the flight.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they are pouring beers from Ballast Point including Sculpin, Grapefruit Sculpin, Even Keel, Grunion, Victory at Sea, Calm Before the Storm, Barmy Apricot Ale, Big Eye, and Dorado. Draft by the glass pours will be $3.00 and will include a pint glass to take home for the first 72 guests. The cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

Braxton Brewing – First Friday tapping from 5:00-9:00 pm – They will be tapping Trophy: Amarillo. 5% of all Trophy proceeds are donated back into the Covington Community.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night (30 pounds of it tonight) AND they will be having a Unita pint night with Uinta Coffee Stout, Gose, Pale Ale and Bier de Garde.

Tuesday, Feb. 2nd from 5:00-7:00 pm – Moerlein Big Piney Pint Night at Drake’s Florence

Wednesday, Feb. 3rd – Rhinegeist Sherry Barrel Aged “Ink” Tapping at Barleycorn’s Lakeside Park
Brewers and representatives from Rhinegeist will be on hand to talk about this special beer.

Smitten and Two Hearted will also be tapped.

Thursday, Feb. 4th at 5:00 pm – Sierra Nevada Tap Takeover at Incline Public House

Thursday, Feb. 4th from 5:00-11:00 pm – Bell’s Tap Takeover at Wild Mike’s Shady Lane
Beers include Two-Hearted Ale, Smitten Rye, Cherry Stout and Hopslam.

Thursday, Feb. 4th at 6:00 pm – February Beer of the Month Tapping at Moerlein Lager House
This month, it’s Emancipator Doppelbock.

Thursday, Feb. 4th at 7:00 pm – Books on Tap at Braxton Brewing
Co-hosted by Braxton Brewing Company and the Kenton County Public Library, Books On Tap is a monthly get-together for books and beer lovers-alike. This month’s book is The Martian by Andy Weir.

Thursday, Feb. 4th at 7:00 pm – Bad Tom Smith Pint Night at Hebron Brew Haus

Friday, Feb. 5th at 4:00-7:00 pm – Warped Wing Beer Tasting at Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot

Friday, Feb. 5th at 5:30 pm – Free Bacon Friday at Ei8ht Ball
Twenty pounds of bacon plus they’re tapping three beers from Uinta: Biere De Garde, Coffee Stout and Ready Set Gose.

Saturday, Feb. 6th from 2:00-6:00 pm – Super Firkin Fest at Christian Moerlein Malt House
The event is free to enter but firkin pours will be ticketed. Each ticket will be good for a 4 oz. pour from any firkin. See their Facebook event page for the firkin list and more information.

Sunday, Feb. 7th at 11:00 am – Bell’s Hopslam Brunch at Keystone Covington
They will also have Bell’s Smitten Golden Rye Ale and Bell’s Two-Hearted on draft.
