Midwest Craft Beer Summit featuring Stone’s Greg Koch

Another great beer event added! We already have our reservations in for this one and hope to see many Hoperatives there too!

On Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 08:00PM, come meet at the University of Cincinnati’s Catskeller as Greg Koch, Founder and CEO of Stone Brewing Co., discusses the current state of the craft beer industry. Greg’s keynote will begin at 5pm; specially designed menu items paired with Stone’s beers will be presented throughout his presentation. All of Stone’s year round offerings will be available, as well as a few special release items and Catskeller’s normal lineup of authentic craft beer. Admission to the event is free, however there is a $10 charge to enjoy the food and beer pairings. There will be 6 light courses paired with beer.

Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (513) 556-0943 or emailing Adam.Cavalier.OH@gmail.com

  1. Right as Oktoberfest is wrapping up? Are they trying to kill us?

Not sure if I can make it, but I’ll sure as heck try.

  2. This should be incredible. I loved the Catskeller while I was back in school. They have a pretty terrific beer selection, and is a perfect getaway on-campus or during a Bearcat football game.

  3. I plan on going to this one, but Greg Koch will also be at the Comet on Thursday night for a Stone Event there. It begins at 7:30 PM and goes until 10:00 PM. Greg is coming in from a 6:37 PM arrival at the CVG airport, may be running a bit late. Free event, but of course, the food and beer is not free, but is very reasonably priced. I will be at the Comet as well Thursday(I often am anyway, lol).
