Holler Hops and Grill – 5th Anniversary Celebration Saturday and Sunday. More information available on their Facebook event page.

Urban Artifact – 2nd Anniversary Party Saturday starting at 11:00 am. Six different bottles to be released including Wine Barrel Palmistry, three fruited versions of Escapement, and Perpetuum 2015 & 2016. For more information, check out their Facebook event page.

TASTINGS, TOURS and DINNERS

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Dank IPA at Fairfield and from Sixpoint at Eastgate.

Lehr’s Prime Market – MadTree Tap Takeover Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm. Beers include Citra High Imperial IPA, Experimetal Pale Ale, Passionfruit Tart Ale, Axis Mundi, and one more still to be determined.

Mecklenburg Gardens – Frühling Keg Tapping & Pig Roast Friday at 6:00 pm. Pricing and more information available at their Facebook event page.

Midway Café Fort Thomas – MDA charity event. $1 of every Rhinegeist Hustle and Cougar goes to Muscular Dystrophy Association.

OTR Biergarten – Featuring beers from this weekend. They will be pouring Breathitt County Blonde Ale and Fink Red Rye. The April Biergarten hours are Saturday, 11am-6pm and Sunday, 11am-4 pm.

Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from TBA. It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

BC’s Bottle Lodge – MadTree 12 Tap Takeover Friday at 6:00 pm. Beers include PSA, Happy Amber, Lift, PsycHOPathy, PassionFruit Tart Ale, Bockaveli, All in the Hips, Four Mile, Chamomile Levanto, BA Ye Olde Battering Ram, BA Axis Mundi (2015), BA Rubus Cacao, and a Surprise Keg.

Braxton Brewing – Tinker Tapping Friday at 5:00 pm. Tinker is a tart sour golden ale. Fireside Pizza will be on site.

Buffalo Bob’s Mt. Zion – Mile Wide Tap Takeover Friday at 5:00 pm. Beers include Army Had a Half Day IPA, IdleWild Pale Ale, and White Ale.

Dilly. Bistro, Bar & Bottle Shop. – Saturday at 4:00 pm you can celebrate Earth Day by drinking beer. Get a free sapling with purchase of a MadTree beer. They will have PsycHOPathy and Bourbon Barrel aged Ye Old Battering Ram.

Hofbräuhaus Newport – Celebrate the 501st anniversary of the Reinheitsgebot with $5 beers.

Listermann Brewing – BA Horchata and Blueberry Lime Tart bottle release Sunday at noon.

Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – Brooklyn Brewery tasting today from 4:00-7:00 pm. Beers include Summer Ale, American Ale and two more to be determined.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Sixpoint at Fairfield and from Goodwood at Eastgate.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from Rhinegeist. Beers include Truth, Puma, Cidergeist, Cougar, Hustle, Fluxion, Panda, Badger, Exp IPA 004, EXP IPA 005, Mushhushshu. It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

TAPPINGS and RELEASES

Braxton Brewing – May’s Firkin Friday tonight at 5:30 pm and it’s a Banana Split. That’s their Haven Hefeweizen with cocoa, strawberry and pineapple.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night and they will be having a special Lervig Tap Takeover and Skype session with Lervig’s brewmaster Mike Murphy. Beers include Jack Daniels BA Barleywine, Belgian Saison, Pop That Cherry Lambic (collaboration w/ Mikkeller), Saured Kraut Mango and Pineapple infused Sour, Redchurch Softly Softly Oud Bruin. The Skype session starts at 5:30 pm.

Listermann Brewing – Cincinnati Beer Week Collaboration Bottle Release tonight starting at 5:00 pm. From Facebook: “We have teamed up with Urban Artifact, MadTree Brewing and DogBerry Brewing LLC for our version of the CIncinnati Beer Week Collaboration beer, Over/Under. This beer is an amber lager brewed with Mulberry Wood. While there will be 5 Cincinnati Beer Week Beers available this year, this will be the only one in bottles. The beer will be on draft Friday Night Only and then again during beer week. 4 Packs are $9.99”

Nashville Hot – Christian Moerlein Tap Takeover tonight starting at 7:00 pm. Buy a pint, keep the glass.

OTHER

Old Firehouse Brewery – Pints for Pups Saturday from 4:00-8:00 pm. The brewery will be donating $1 from every pint sold during that time to Circle Tails, Inc.

Monday, Nov. 2nd from 4:00-10:00 pm – MadTree Takes Movember: Barbers vs. Brewers
The brewers at MadTree are known for their beards. This Movember, they are raising money for Movember Cincinnati, a local group that creates awareness for men’s health issues and raises vital funds to combat prostate and testicular cancers. The more money they raise, the more beards that are shaved live at this event. You can donate at the YouCaring website and then watch the beards get shaved off.

Monday, Nov. 2nd at 5:00 pm – Rare Keg Monday at Ei8ht Ball Brewing
This week, it’s Avery Pumpkin. The cost is $12 for a ten ounce snifter (limit of one per person).

Monday, Nov. 2nd at 6:00 pm – Beer of the Month Tapping at Moerlein Lager House
This month, it’s King Pin Classic cream ale. A dollar from every Beer of the Month sold will be donated to the DAV 5K along with 100% of the proceeds from the ceremonial keg.

Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 6:00 pm – Moerlein T-Bird Hop Harvest Ale Can Launch and Firkin Tapping at Christian Moerlein Malt House
Tap Lineup Additions include Eleven/162 – Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Wee Heavy; Shiver – Chai Spiced Porter; Lime-Bird: T-Bird Infused with fresh Lime; and Stuffed-Bird: T-Bird infused with Cranberries, Rosemary, and Sage.

Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 6:30 pm – New Belgium Beer Dinner at the Celestial
Seven course meal with beer pairings. This is the Celestial’s first ever beer dinner. Cost is $75 per person. The menu is available on their Facebook Event Page. Make your reservations on OpenTable.

Thursday, Nov. 5th at 6:00-10:00 pm – Pint Night Thursdays at Cock & Bull (all three locations)
The beers for this week’s Pint Night Thursdays are: Main Strasse Covington – Great Lakes Christmas Ale, Glendale – Rivertown Roebling and Hyde Park – TBA.

Thursday, Nov. 5th at 7:00 pm – Sixpoint Pint Night at Hebron Brew Haus
Sixpoint Bengali Tiger is the featured beer. This is a keep the glass event.

Friday, Nov. 6th at 5:00 pm – Free Bacon Friday at Ei8ht Ball
This week, along with the free bacon, they are tapping several beers from Founders including Backwoods Bastard, Mosaic Promise, Porter and All Day IPA.

Saturday, Nov. 7th at 10:00 am – National Learn to Homebrew Day at Osborn Brewing

More than 20 seasonal craft beers will be featured, including: Special Barrel Aged Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas, DuClaw For Pete’s Sake Imperial Sweet Baby Jesus, Rogue Santa’s Little Helper, Schlafly Christmas Ale, Lost Coast Winterbraun, St. Bernardus Christmas Ale, Great Lakes Christmas Ale, Deschutes Jubel 2015, West Sixth Christmas Ale, Brew Kettle Winter Warmer, a special keg of Moerlein Christkindl Holiday Spiced Ale on tap designed by the brewers of the Moerlein Lager House, plus many more.

Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – Moerlein Beer Tasting from 4:00-7:00 pm.

Everything’s d’ Vine – Tasting is at 5:30 pm each week and costs $10 for beer and wine tastings. You can get just beer or just wine for $5.00. The beers for this week’s tasting (9/4) are Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat, Revolution Oktoberfest, MadTree PsycHOPathy and Stone Thunderstruck IPA.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Heavy Seas in Fairfield and SweetWater in Eastgate.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week (9/4) from 5:30-7:00 pm, it’s beers from Bell’s, West Sixth, Schlafly, Sixpoint, Dark Horse, Deschutes and Southern Tier. The draft by the glass pour will be Founders latest “Back Stage Series” Redankulous Double IPA for $3.00. The cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights.
