Monday, Dec. 12th starting at 12:00 pm – Twelve Beers of Christmas at Ei8ht Ball Brewing
From Facebook: “Starting on 12/12/16 at noon and for the next 12 days we are tapping some rare kegs and getting all festive and stuff, so come check it out. Here is a list of beers that will be tapped in no particular order (order coming soon): St. Bernardus Christmas Ale, Lervig Jack Daniels Barrel-Aged Barleywine, Braxton Snow Shovel Rum Winter Warmer, Mikkeller/Three Floyds Bla Spogelse Blueberry Lambic, Three Floyds Sabertooth Berzerker, Stone Bigger Longer Uncut, Tilquin Gueuze, Prairie Xmas Bomb!, Prairie Paradise, The Bruery 9 Ladies Dancing, Crooked Stave Nightmare on Brett and Goose Island Bourbon County Stout.” They will also be tapping their own Home Alone Chocolate Milk Stout at 6:00 pm this Monday.

Monday, Dec. 12th at 6:00 pm – BREW 100 Sanuk Tapping at Urban Artifact
The fourth beer designed by students in Cincinnati State’s Introduction to Craft Beer class, BREW 100 Sanuk is a carmelized pineapple Kölsch with jasmine. Sanuk is the Thai word for fun.

Tuesday, Dec. 13th starting at 6:00 pm – Ol’ Pee Paw’s Farmhouse Ale Tappening at Rivertown Brewing

Wednesday, Dec. 14th at 6:00 pm – Breckenridge Snowboard Giveaway at The Casual Pint – Oakley

Wednesday, Dec. 14th at 6:00 pm – Rhinegeist Beer Dinner at Commonwealth Bistro

Wednesday, Dec. 14th starting at 6:00 pm – Import Beer Tasting at Marty’s Hops and Vines

They will be tapping two kegs of Goose Island’s Bourbon County Stout. One of which has been aging in their caller for a year. Cost is $17 for a vertical tasting.

Thursday, Dec. 15th – Christian Moerlein Pint Night at The Casual Pint – Oakley
The featured beer is their Shiver Chai Spiced Porter.

Thursday, Dec. 15th at 5:00 pm – Barrel Aged Great Lakes Christmas Ale Tapping at Molly Malone’s Covington
According to their Facebook page, “here also will be the Christmas Ale, Blackout Stout and Elliot Ness Lager on tap!! Swag and prizes will be available and we might even get a Santa Claus sighting before its all said and done.”

Thursday, Dec. 15th from 5:00-10:00 pm – Hoof Hearted Pint Night at Cappy’s Wines and Spirits

Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – Ballast Point tasting today from 4:00-7:00 pm.

DEP’s Fine Wine and Spirits – Rivertown beer tasting from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from MadTree at Fairfield and beers from Rhinegeist Brewing at Eastgate.

Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring from Rhinegeist. Beers include Mastodon, Bourbon Barrel Druncle, Sabertooth Tiger, an all new Experimental Double IPA and more. It’s $2.00 for the regular sample flights. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

Tastings and Tappings Report: June 10, 2016

TASTINGS

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from MadTree at Fairfield and from Listermann at Eastgate.

— In addition, the Fairfield Jungle Jim’s will be hosting a MadTree Tap Takeover in their Oscar’s Event Center tonight. They’ll have MadTree “beers on tap, food made, some goodies on hand, and live entertainment from local band Outta Here.” Cover is $3 (drinks will be individually priced).

— On Saturday from 4:00-10:00 pm, the Eastgate Jungle Jim’s will have a Rhinegeist tap takeover in their Paraside Pavilion. Pints and flights available.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Party Town – No Friday Night Flights this week. It will return next week.

Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

BC’s Bottle Lodge – MadTree Tap Takeover tonight starting at 6:00 pm. Beers include Sol Drifter, Boysen the Hood, Mosaic High, Citra High or Hunt for Cherry October

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night and they will be pouring beers from The Bruery whose beers are newly available in Kentucky. Beers include Whiskey Barrel-Aged Poterie, Jardinier, Tart of Darkness and Or Xata. Pricing varies by beer.
