TASTINGS

Country Fresh Farm Market and Wine Depot – Winter Beer and More Tasting Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm featuring Kona Koko Brown, Red Hook Winter Hook, Widmer BRRR and Kona Pipleine.

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring beers from Weyerbacher in Fairfield and beers from Hop Head picks in Eastgate.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Source – $1 beer tastings on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they are pouring beers from some of Europe’s finest like Samuel Smith, Lindemans, Ayinger and Rochefort. The draft by the glass pour will be Ayinger Celebrator. Full draft pours will be $3.00 and the first 72 guests will receive Ayinger glassware to take home. The cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

TAPPINGS

Braxton Brewing – First Friday tapping from 5:00-9:00 pm – They will be tapping Trophy: Amarillo. 5% of all Trophy proceeds are donated back into the Covington Community.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night (30 pounds of it tonight) AND they will be pouring Epic Hop Zombie and four Ei8ht Ball releases: a new Kettle Sour featuring blackberry, raspberry and cherries called Little Richard, Yoga Pants (Black IPA featuring honey, Citra hops and Amarillo), Barrel-Aged Home Alone (O.K.I. Barrel-Aged Milk Stout w/nuts), Foursome (Blackberry Quad collaboration with Nogne O).

Also, on Saturday, Quaff Bros. Peppermint Stout bottle release at 4:00 pm. Cost is $10.99 and there is a limit of three per person.

SPECIAL TAPPING – A cask of Brew School 100 Curve Ball Black IPA infused with vanilla and lavender at the Moerlein Lager House. A portion of the proceeds of this beer will go towards the brewing science courses at Cincinnati State. The regular version will be available on draft at both the Moerlein Lager House and the Moerlein Malt House.

TASTINGS

Jungle Jim’s – Friday night tasting from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at both locations. Pints are usually $3. This week, they are pouring Dogfish Head in Fairfield and beers from MadTree in Eastgate.

Ludlow Wines – Saturday beer tasting is from 5:00-8:00 pm. The cost to taste four beers is $6.00 per person.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week from 5:30-7:00 pm, they’re pouring beers from new beers from Ballast Point, Flying Dog and Four String Brewing. For the draft by the glass pours, they’ll have Blue Stallion Resting Bitter Face Imperial IPA and New Holland Pilgram’s Dole Bourbon Barrel Aged Wheat Wine. Both will be $3.00 for a nine ounce pour. The cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights. Limit of one sample per person. No shopping carts in the back room please.

Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

Braxton Brewing – Shoptalk Double IPA tapping (Collaboration with Widmer Bros.) at 7:00 pm this Saturday along with local band Wilder and Tom + Chee will be in the taproom passing out samples of Braxton’s exclusive taproom menu.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight is Free Bacon Night AND they will be tapping Rhinegeist Stryker. Pints for $5 for a ten ounce snifter.

Party Town – For Friday Night Flights this week (5/29) from 5:30-7:00 pm, it’s Rivertown. Beers include Unblended Lambic, Kriek, Insurrection Double IPA and Death. In bottles, they will have Soulless, Roebling Porter, Divergent Berlinerweiss (three different ways) and more. Cost for the flight is $2.00 per person. Only adults age 21 or more are admitted for Friday Night Flights.

Whole Foods Cincinnati – Cask & Cork: Beer and Wine every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. For $5, you get five sips and six delicious bites. Tickets sold until 6:30 pm.

Ei8ht Ball Brewing – Tonight (5/29) is Free Bacon Night AND they are tapping BrewDog Cocoa Psycho. Cost is $12 for a ten ounce snifter.

– For Saturday’s Randall Saturday (5/30), it’s Rivertown Old Sour Cherry Porter through chocolate and vanilla. The cost is $8 for a 13 ounce pint.

– For next week’s Rare Keg Monday (6/1), it’s Stone Points Unknown IPA and Stochasticity Project HiFi + LoFi Mixtape. The cost for both beers is $5 for a 10 ounce snifter.

BOTTLE RELEASES

Fifty West – Will be releasing their wild sour ale Brett is My Co-Pilot on Saturday, March 28th. The line will form at noon and the first 30 people will receive free specialty glassware. There will also be other barrel aged and funky beers on tap in celebration of the release including Barrel Aged Our Mom’s Advice, Jalopy Nose Jalapeno Stout, Batch 50 Our Dad’s Advice and 2014 Are We There Yet? Saison.

Listermann Brewing – Releasing Nutcase Peanut Butter and Raspberry Jam Porter at 10:00 am on 3/28. Cost is $12.99 a bottle and there is a limit of five per person.

TASTINGS

Prices for beer by the glass will be posted at the event & will include a free Sweet Water 18th anniversary snifter. Cost is $2.00 per person. This brew is the winner of the previous year’s Bockfest homebrew competition put on by the Bloatarian Brewing League. Special dinner buffet will be available as well.

This is also a comedy show supporting a young comic named Ally who headed to NYC to perform for the first time. $1 of every Upland/Alltech beer sold will go to the Dragonfly Foundation and to help with Ally’s travel expenses. There will also be a silent auction, raffles and split the pot. $5 donation for the comedy show recommended.
