Dogfish Head Brewery, out of Delaware has a reputation for brewing some of the nation’s most interesting beers. We are pleased to be able to offer you six of their limited releases and allow you to sample them a glass at a time or by flights. We will be offering: Midas Touch, made from a 2700 year old recipe discovered in the tomb of King Midas on Crete; Palo Santo Marron, brown ale fermented in exotic Palo Santo wooden tanks; Black and Blue, a Belgian-Style golden ale fermented with blueberries and blackberries; Burton Baton, a post fermentation blend of an English-style Old Ale and an Imperial IPA. After reaching maturity in separate tanks, the two beers are transferred into oak and allowed to mellow for another month; Red and White: a Belgian wit fermented with orange peel and juice from Pinot Noir grapes aged in oak and Chateau Jiahu is made from a 9000 year old Neolithic recipe of Northern China discovered by a molecular archeologist.

Friday, May 7th at 7:00 pm – Bell’s Brewery Beer Tasting at Jungle Jim’s

While the Pale Ale, Porter, Kalamazoo Stout, Third Coast Beer, Amber Ale and Two Hearted Ale are available year round, the majority of Bell’s beers are seasonal. For example, Oberon Ale is available from late March through October and Best Brown Ale from October through March. The Stouts are available on a schedule similar to that for the Best Brown. Others like the Consecrator Doppelbock and the Sparkling Ale are single batches released once a year. Bell’s also releases one time only ‘millennial’ brews to commemorate each of its successive 1000 batches. The upcoming availability of these beers can be relatively predicted by the batch number of the Bell’s products currently available, printed on every bottle of Bell’s beer. Cost: $25.00 per person.
