Saturday, Jan. 23rd from 1:00-11:00 pm – Flint Disaster Relief Fundraiser at Blank Slate Brewing
From their Facebook event page: “Water is THE most important raw material we use as brewers. We are blessed with top notch drinking water here in Cincinnati and it just so happens to make great beer too. Imagine if the water you were drinking (and everything made from it) was rendered toxic due to cost cutting efforts by your friendly local government. Not cool. This is exactly what has happened in Flint Michigan. People in that community currently don’t have access to safe drinking water from their municipal system and to us that is a real shame. It has been bugging us so much that we decided we need to do something to help.
This Saturday, January 23rd, BLANK SLATE BREWING COMPANY will be donating 20% of all beverage sales to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund to aid in immediate disaster relief for those affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. We will also be accepting cash donations as part of the contributions.”

Saturday, Jan. 23rd from 1:00-11:00 pm – Pints for a Purpose at The Pub at Rookwood Mews
Help The Pub in Rookwood raise money for the family of Firefighter Patrick Wolterman who was killed in the line of duty on December 28th, 2015 serving the City of Hamilton Fire Department. Great Lakes Brewery, Ohio Valley Wine & Spirits Distributing, and The Pub have all agreed to donate $1 for every Great Lakes Pint sold between 5pm and 11pm on January 23rd. That means a $3 donation for every pint purchased. They will also have some amazing silent auction items, donation boxes, split the pot, t-shirts available for purchase, and more.
